As part of our enchanting country estate our self catering Coniston cottages enjoy an unrivaled holiday location, with approximately 20 acres of countryside extending to the shores of Coniston Water.

After extensive restoration and refurbishment we have created several unique holiday cottages, each with its own charm and character but all enjoying the same situation surrounded by stunning Lakeland scenery. 

Tinkler Beck Farm, a large traditional Coniston Cottages barn conversion & Tent Lodge Cottages - 3 cottages converted and renovated from the stable block, form 2 sides of a triangular courtyard, originally the farm buildings to Townson Ground.

All are regularly and tastefully refurbished providing comfortable holiday homes of quality and character. Retaining where possible original features, such as exposed beams, deep paned windows and open coal fires. There is ample parking for 2 cars per property , large shared gardens with panoramic views, furniture and bar-be-que, private lake access and jetties

All Coniston cottages enjoy incomparable views of Coniston Lake and countryside. All accommodation is very well equipped with colour TV's, microwaves, fridges / freezers, electric cookers and heating throughout. All bed linen is provided and beds are made ready for your arrival.

	Tinkler Beck (Sleep upto 6 Persons) This Coniston Cottages property offers five star accommodation and is equipped with all the above and also includes, cd/tape/radio, dishwasher, washing machine and oil central heating and wood burning stove, linen and towels included.

	Tent Lodge Cottage (Sleep up to 4 Persons) Newly refurbished Coniston Cottage in Spring 2003, this cottage enjoys a small enclosed garden and open plan, downstairs living with a lovely bright kitchen and a roomy, comfortable sitting room with a wood burning stove. Fully equiped with microwave, fridge/freezer and electric oven and hob with extractor. Two bright, comfortable bedrooms, one twin and one double, provide sleeping accommodation upstairs alongside a spacious bathroom with bath and over-bath electric shower.

	Grizedale (Sleep upto 4/5 persons) Enter through a stable door into a roomy comfortable sitting room with an open fire and a colour TV. The spacious dining kitchen is well equipped with utensils, electric cooker, microwave and fridge and freezer. The open staircase from the sitting room leads to two pretty bedrooms – one with a double bed and the other with a double and a single bed. The bathroom has a bath with electric shower.
Wetherlam (Sleep upto 2/4 persons) This Coniston cottage has a cosy sitting room with a colour TV and an open fire. The dining kitchen has its original slate flag floor and is also well equipped with utensils, electric cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer. The quaint staircase opens onto the first floor where there is  one bright, spacious double bedroom and one smaller room with full-size bunk beds.  The bathroom has a bath with an electric shower.
Interconnecting doors link Grizedale and Wetherlam, enabling us to accommodate larger or unusual sized groups.
