Tucked away amidst breathtaking scenery on the tranquil eastern side of Coniston Water, our historic 200 year old country house makes an ideal base from which to explore the spectacular English Lake District.  Coniston Village is only a five minute drive, and a trip to the village of Hawkshead will take you 10 minutes by car.

Quality Coniston Cottages Bed & Breakfast accommodation is available in our Georgian lodge and combines a high standard of accommodation with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We offer B&B in three roomy and charming bedrooms, each with ensuite facilities. Two have incomparable views over Coniston Water to the village and mountains beyond and one looks out onto our well established grounds.

During your stay, you will be able, on chilly evenings, to relax by a roaring log fire, enjoy a hearty breakfast in our classical drawing room, again, with our infamous view. With beautiful gardens and pasture land extending to the shores of the lake, you will find yourself tempted to venture outdoors to unwind and take advantage of our private jetty only a few minutes walk away on Coniston Water.
